Workshop to strengthen rail freight transport

On 29 May 2018 the third workshop took place within the pilot phase of the ChemMultimodal project in Leuna (DE). During the pilot phase project partners collaborate with chemical companies and logistics service providers to increase the modal split of the rail transport of chemical goods and products. Speakers included representatives of DB Netz who spoke about infrastructure improvements enhance the rail infrastructure for train length of up to 740 meters.
