Webinar on structural change in the Saxon coalfields

The Marshal’s Office of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship together with the Saxon State Ministry of Regional Development organized a webinar on 12.10.2021 entitled “Impact of structural changes in Saxony on the development of border areas of Lower Silesia”. This promotional activity was linked to study visits and workshops which are planned within the framework of the TransGredio project. Beyond the promotion of the project and project activities, the main objective of the webinar was to identify early synergies and opportunities for cooperation between the administration and entrepreneurs across the border as a development chance for the whole border region. The event was attended by 46 participants and one of the main presentations was given by Jörg Huntermann, Head of Department at the Ministry of Regional Development, who touched among other things on fundamental restructuring investments in the Saxon coalfields.
