Latest results of montan-archaeological surveys near Niederpöbel

The interested public was invited to a symposium hosted by the Saxon State Office of Archaeology on 2 February 2015 to learn about the latest knowledge gained regarding early medieval mining in the Ore Mountains. Site-surveys, geological investigation and historical research allowed to draw new conclusions. Details are published in a booklet “ArchaeoMontan 2015”.
