Study of the border area is completed

On the 7.11.2019 the closing conference of the Smart Integration project, which is financed through funds from the INTERREG Poland-Saxony 2014-2020 cooperation programme, took place in Görlitz. As part of the conference a study about the saxonian and lower silesian border region was presented. It examines in detail the current state in areas of activity such as: “public services and access to goods and services”, “transportation accessibility”, “economy and innovation” and “tourism, culture and natural environment”. In its result it lists specific possibilities of an enhanced, cross-border collaboration between the municipalities.
