Structural change in practice: the coal phase-out

On 09.11.2021, the first of four planned workshops on structural change in Germany took place in the Hoyerswerda region. The workshop on tourism, culture and the natural environment was attended by representatives of regional authorities from the border areas and German and Polish experts. The main objective of the workshop was to present the structural changes in practice and to share with the polish party the experiences gained so far, as well as to inform the local authorities about the projects currently implemented in Germany related to this subject. The entire event was interpreted simultaneously and took place within the framework of the TransGredio project implemented under the Interreg Poland Saxony programme. The event was attended by 25 participants.
