Public transport innovations tested despite the pandemic

The fourth partner meeting of the YOUMOBIL project took place on November 5th and 6th, 2020. Although the ongoing pandemic meant that the event had to be realized in virtual format it presented an opportunity for a lot of discussion and exchange among project partners. At present different pilot actions are in the focus of project activities. A special late train service between Dugo Selo and the Croatian capital Zagreb is already in operation since July, allowing young people to go see a movie and return by train home. In Saxony-Anhalt and the Mazovian voivodship new public transport apps for mobile devices with special features for young travellers are soon to be published. As travel restrictions are in place in most partner regions the pilot actions are expected to unleash their full potentials in spring 2021.
