Science as Adventure: Communication of archeology in schools

The Museum of West Lusatia in Kamenz, the Ceramics Museum in Bolesławiec and the Lusatian Museum in Zgorzelec work together in the project “Science as Adventure” to enhance extracurricular, cross-border (German-Polish), interdisciplinary educational programs based on archaeological materials and cultural monuments and to improve the cooperation between institutional educational institutions and cultural institutions in the border area. Within the framework of the project an analysis of Saxon and Polish curriculums will be prepared, and schools from all twinned towns will also be involved in this project itself, e.g. they will take a part in the pottery’s workshop. core-consult supports the project implementation as external project secretariat.
