OptiTrans: Better connecting suburban areas to the public transport grid

OptiTrans is a multi-annual project aiming to optimize public transport in suburban areas. Following a pan-European exchange of experiences and good practices, each of the seven partner regions will elaborate an action plan indicating how EU structural funds earmarked to promote low-carbon mobility can be used to better integrate urban public transport and public transport in cities’ near surroundings. Lead Partner of the project is Thuringia’s Ministry for Infrastructure and Agriculture. core-consult is tasked to provide its services as external project and financial management for its entire lifetime.
