New energy for cross-border civil protection

As Löbau’s Fire Brigade celebrated its 150th anniversary on June 14th, 2024, its Polish colleagues from fire brigades in the Luban district came to gratulate. At the same time, the highest representatives of the two project partners alongside dozens of members of both fire brigades met for a new project’s kick-off meeting in Löbau and looked back to almost 10 years of cross-border collaboration, including two completed joint Interreg projects. The members of the Polish fire brigades also took part in the public festivities that followed the kick-off meeting.
