New contract for core-consult and project kick-off

core-consult has won a public tender to support the Interreg Central Europe project Wildfire CE during its three-year lifetime between June 2024 and May 2027 as External project and financial management. The project’s kick-off event, already attended by core-consult, took place on June 11th and 12th, 2024, in Bad Schandau, Germany. The town is close to the border to the Czech Republic and has been the scene of a devastating wildfire in summer 2022 that stretched across both countries. During the kick-off event the members of the consortium visited the burnsite and discussed how the scale of the devastation could have been limited through enhanced prevention measures.
