Kick-off for a new project

The first event of the Czech-German project ARCHIV-NET took place on 6 November 2018 in Dresden. Following a work meeting between the two project partners a visit of the Archeological Archive of Saxony took place where participants learned about the collection and research possibilities. Nine more such site visits are planned in archives of the Czech Republic and Germany. Thereafter, the Office for Archeology of Saxony and the Institute for Archeology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic will publish a guideline how archives and collections can be assessed for hisdtorical researches.
