Kick-off event for the “Fragile Heritage” project at the State Office for Archeology of Saxony

On Monday, 31 March 2025, the project partners of the German-Polish Interreg project ‘Fragiles Erbe/ Kruche dziedzictwo’ and the stakeholders of the project met at the State Office for Archeology of Saxony to get to know the project and to initiate an exchange on the project topics. “The diversity of archeological heritage in the context of climatic threats”, “Central European forests in times of climate change” and “Fragile landscapes between erosion and sedimentation” were just some of the topics addressed at the conference. We had the pleasure of working within the organisation of the event and learning about the serious effects of changing climate events on the archaeological heritage archived in the ground from the invited experts.
