For more freight on rail!

On Apri 17th and 18th, 2023, the partners of the Rail4Regions project met for two days at Varaždin and Koprivnica (HR) for their kick-off event. After several online meetings the event provided the opportunities to get to know each other in person and to exchange about the challenges that need to be mastered to increase the modal split of rail freight transportation. In addition to debates regarding the project’s first activities, partners visited a local freight forwarder and had the opportunity to discuss the project with representatives of three Croatian rail freight companies.
