Exiting new project themes
core-consult is currently working on exiting themes for project applications in three different INTERREG programmes. Thuringia’s Ministry for Infrastructure and Agriculture will be the Lead Partner of an interregional exchange of experience project focusing on public transport policies in light of demographic change (INTERREG EUROPE). Thuringia is also addressed in another project application dealing with the link between suburban areas and important transport nodes. This project for the 2nd call of the INTERREG programme for Central Europe is prepared on behalf of the District of Sömmerda. For the same programme, Saxony’s Office for Archeology has contracted core-consult to develop a project dealing with the sustainable management of cultural (archeological) heritage through introducing new digital methodes. Finally, core-consult supports the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz) in the submission of a project application for the transnational programme for the Danube Region which aims to promote the social integration and employability of marginalised youth. All four project application will be submitted in May and June 2016 to the responsible programme secretariats.
