Convention discusses future of border region

Around 70 stakeholders participated in a Convention of Border Towns in Görlitz to discuss the future of the cross-border cooperation between Saxony and Poland. The event focused on cross-border synergies in the provision of services of general interest that are already used in other border regions. Participants also agreed on the importance of INTERREG for the development of border regions. The event was an official contribution to this year’s European Week.
