On the path to a new project
Representatives of 11 institutions met on 13 and 14 January 2015 at Chemnitz to discuss with the help of core-consult a joint application for funding from the new transnational programme for Central Europe (Interreg Central Europe 2014-2020). The anticipated project would address climate gas emissions from mining legacies and possible solutions available to local public authorities. The programme also included a trip to Oelsnitz/Erzgeb. where participants visited the area of this year’s Saxon gardening and flower exhibition.
