Archaeological Heritage and Tourism

On 15-17 May 2018 a first thematic International Stakeholder Seminar within the project VirtualArch took place in Zadar  Project partners and stakeholders from the fields of archaeology, tourism and creative industries met to discuss topics concerning the tourism as chance and challenge for the protection of archaeological heritage, 3D visualization as marketing tool or the importance of  world heritage sites for regional development. On the following day the project partners took part in a study visit to submerged Roman harbour in Sukošan, endangered by a.o. tourism related activities.
