Annual conference welcomes results of ArchaeoMontan

At the annual conference of the cross-border Interreg programme between Saxony and the Czech Republic on September 5, 2018, in Vejprty and Bärenstein, several speakers acknowledged the results of ArchaeoMontan. The project raised knowledge and awareness of the Ore Mountains’ cultural heritage and established the first two information points for the desired UNESCO world cultural heritage title. The Office for Archaeology of Saxony will continue ArchaeoMontan together with its Czech partners as focus point of its research.
